Levy contributions are payable by every owner in every strata scheme and neighbourhood or community associations.

In accordance with the relative legislation a levy is a determined amount of money that each owner pays to assist in the running of the scheme.

Most commonly levies are due quarterly in advance.

Levies are determined at each Annual General Meeting by the Owners and are based on the next years expected expenditure.

For the convenience of ASSM clients there are four ways that you can easily pay your levies.

1. Payment at your local post office: By using your levy notice that has been sent to you, the post office staff will scan the barcode at the bottom, take your payment and issue you with a receipt. Your payment will then be securely downloaded to the strata schemes individual trust account and reflected on your owner ledger.

2. B-Pay: You can pay your levies via B-pay using the reference number and biller code located at the bottom of your levy notice. B-Pay payments can also be made using your credit card. B-Pay saves you time in not waiting in line to be served.

3. Payment by Cheque: By tearing off the slip at the bottom of your levy notice and sending a cheque to our office your levy payment will be processed and a receipt kept with your strata schemes records.

4. Customer Initiated Direct Debit: If desired an owner can arrange, through the Macquarie Bank, payment of levies using the customer initiated direct debit. To find out more visit the Deft Payment Website at www.deft.com.au
